Today in the Tatar State Academic Theater after G. Kamal will be awarded the Republican Prize in Theater Arts named after Marcel Salimzhanov.

We  remind that the prize is awarded for a significant contribution to the development of professional theatrical art of the Republic of Tatarstan to creative groups and creative workers. It is awarded to three winners once every 2 years. Laureates receive honorary diplomas and remuneration in the amount of 200 thousand rubles.

The competitive commission includes cultural figures of Tatarstan. The chairman is RT Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova.

The award ceremony after  M. Salimzhanov will continue the premiere of the play “Five Evenings” by Alexander Volodin directed by Aidar Zabbarov.
