On February 1, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev met with activists of Tatar public organizations of the Southern Federal District. The meeting was held at the Volgograd Regional Center of Folk Art.

“Since 2018, meetings with the heads of Tatar organizations have been held in the regions of the Russian Federation. During these meetings, we try to resolve various issues that have arisen in the course of our work. Many events took place in 2023. This year will be just as eventful. The National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars has declared 2024 the Year of Personalities,” he said.

The heads of the Tatar national cultural associations of the regions of the Southern Federal District in their speeches spoke about the work done in 2023 and plans for 2024. All of them took an active part in national life.
