On March 13, the Tatar State Philharmonic named after Gubdulla Tukay hosted a solemn event dedicated to the centenary of Tatarkino. The event was attended by Danis Shakirov, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars. He expressed gratitude to Milyausha Aituganova and presented memorable gifts.

100 years ago the activity of Tatarkino began. During its existence, film production in the republic has been actively developing, having gone from silent films to sound, from black and white to color.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Tatarkino institution, it released a series of publications telling about the history of its creation, significant events held by the cultural institution of the region.
