As part of the “Izge Bolgar Jieny” event, a Plenary Session of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan (SAM RT) took place. The meeti ng’s agenda included the approval of the composition of the Presidium, the Council of Ulema, and the Qazis’ Council of the SAM RT. The assembled religious leaders (hazrats) approved the proposals presented by the muftiate.

In addition, Mufti Kamil Hazrat Samigullin tasked the mukhtasib (regional religious administrators) with drafting proposals for events to be held in connection with the designation of Kazan as the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World in 2026.

As part of the Plenary Session, Muhammad Hazrat Khairullaev, regimental imam of the “Batyr” battalion, the 15th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, and the 90th Tank Division, presented letters of appreciation to Mufti Kamil Hazrat Samigullin on behalf of the command of these military units. In response, Kamil Hazrat conveyed his salam to the soldiers, and as a gesture of humanitarian aid, he donated a laptop.
