Delegation of the Tatar National-cultural autonomy of Penza region participated in the 7th Ishimbaev scientific and local history readings

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the 7th Ishimbaev Scientific and Local History Readings were held in Kasimov, Ryazan Region. The event was dedicated to the first Tatar woman mathematician and renowned Sorbonne graduate, Sara Shakulova (1887–1964).

The delegation of the Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Penza Region took part in the readings, including: Rashid Alyushev, Deputy Chairman of the Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Penza Region, Rustam Tugueshev, member of the Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Penza Region.

During the conference, numerous relevant topics were discussed. Rashid Alyushev and Rustam Tugueshev gave a presentation on one of the first Tatar women doctors, Sofya Kulakhmetova (1890–1972), a native of the Penza Governorate. Her life and accomplishments served as a vivid example of determination and dedication to her profession.

A significant part of the discussions also focused on the preservation and strengthening of the traditional spiritual values of the peoples of Russia within their historical territories.
