Kazan began welcoming guests who will participate in the “National Assembly”. Among the first to arrive were representatives from Kazakhstan. The delegation was greeted at Kazan International Airport by Danis Shakirov, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars and Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as Lenara Kuteeva, Head of the Department for Work with Tatar Public Organizations Abroad. The delegation is led by Taufik Karimov.

The arrival of the delegation from Kazakhstan highlights the broad geography of the event and reflects the strong ties of Tatars living in different parts of the world with their national life and spiritual homeland.
