The forum dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria gathered 1100 delegates from 76 regions of Russia and 5 foreign countries.

Albir Hazrat Kraganov also shared his thoughts on the activities of the World Congress of Tatars.

Experts commented on the importance of this holiday from the point of view of politics, economy and ordinary people of Tatarstan.

The forum delegates were greeted by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev.

During the meeting, the leaders talked about the festive events dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bolgaria.

The activities and development of Tatar cultural centers and Muslim religious organizations were also discussed at the meeting.

The projects "Hәrәkәttә - bәrәkәt" and "Soyla" were implemented by the City Hall with the support of the Commission under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on the preservation and development of the Tatar language.

The show program was attended by artists of the creative teams of the TCC, as well as the Kazan musical group "Milash" and artists of the St. Petersburg Tatar theater "Bylbyl".

The Tatar language is studied at school from grade 1.
