A delegation of the Tatar community of Afghanistan arrived in the capital of Tatarstan to participate in the VIII Congress of the World Congress of Tatars.
“For the first time we came to Tatarstan, we experience only positive emotions. In Kazan, the hand of the owner is visible, the city is well-groomed and beautiful, unique architecture. The road to Kazan took us more than two days. First, the bus traveled for a day from Kabul to Herat. Another day on the bus to get to Tehran. From Tehran they flew to Moscow, and then to Kazan. In total, we traveled about 1,700 kilometers by bus,” Zabihullo Naderi Tatar, head of the Afghan Tatar Council, told a Tatar-inform journalist.
In addition to participation in the events of the Congress, the program of the delegation’s stay included meetings with Tatarstan entrepreneurs and businessmen.
“We brought seven delegates to Kazan. Among them there are also business representatives who want to buy products of Tatarstan producers: wheat, flour, sugar, sunflower oil, household chemicals, perfumes, sauces, confectionery products, pharmaceuticals, oil products. The delegates will also get acquainted with the project for the development of small-scale power generation, which will be presented to them by the power engineers of Tatarstan,” Rustam Khabibullin, general director of the Kazan Charitable Patriotic Fund of Muslims of Russia, whose representative office is located in Kabul, shared the program of the delegates’ visit.
