On July 10, the traditional family festival “Kurban-fest” will be held in the Gorky Park of Kazan. This year it will be dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria.

The concept of the festival involves the preservation of family values, spiritual and religious traditions. The organizers have prepared a rich festive program for the guests, which will start at 13:00 and last until 17:00.

Entertainment for the whole family will be organized on the territory of the park: master classes, active games for children and their parents, exhibitions. Photo zones and a face painting zone will also be open, a soap show and a scientific presentation are planned, and stilt walkers and life-size puppets will be seen at the festival. Cafes and retail outlets will be open throughout the holiday.

The holiday is held by the mukhtasibat of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of Kazan of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan for the fifth time, the press service of the Religious  Muslim Board of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.
