Olympic champion in figure skating, the current world champion Alina Zagitova has  won in the nomination “People’s  Sports Girl” of the national award “Soviet Sport – Results of the Year”. The newspaper “Soviet Sport” writes.

The winner of the special prize was determined by a vote of fans – it was held by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).

The second place was taken by MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, the third was shared by football player Artem Dziuba and hockey player Alexander Ovechkin.
