The All-Russian Forum of Tatar Journalists starts in Kazan

Today, the All-Russian Forum of Tatar Journalists starts in Kazan. For the second time, the World Tatars Congress gathers media representatives covering the life of Tatars in various regions of the country. We remind  last year, a training seminar was organized for Tatar journalists.

In the building of the World Congress of Tatars registration of participants of the Forum is underway. In total, about 50 Tatar journalists from 20 regions of Russia are scheduled to arrive.

The forum will last two days. On the first day, participants will spend in Kazan. At a round table, journalists will discuss issues of concern to them, then they will take part in summing up the 9th All-Russian contest of journalists and mass media “Tatars rukhi һәm kalam”. Also, the winners of the Tatars Tabyn contest will be awarded as part of the forum.

Tomorrow, journalists will go to Ulyanovsk. A rich program awaits them there. The participants will familiarize themselves with the activities of the Tatar Culture Center, meet with the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region S. I. Morozov, visit the editorial office of the regional newspaper “Omet”, get acquainted with the activities of the Ulyanovsk branch of the Tatarstan-New Century TV and Radio Company, etc.
