These days, the final of the Republican contest “Tatar Kyzy-2026” is taking place in Kazan. As part of the contest, the participants met with the head of the Committee for Work with Public Organizations “Ak Kalpak,” Chairperson of the Republican Public Organization of Tatar Women “Ak Kalpak” Kadriya Idrisova.

The meeting became one of the key events of the cultural program aimed at preserving and promoting Tatar traditions. During the meeting, the participants discussed important aspects of Tatar culture, with special attention given to family traditions, which hold a special place in the life of the Tatar people. Afterwards, the young women met with Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Insaf Abdulla. He, in turn, conducted a masterclass in the art of elocution for the girls. The day’s program also included choreography and vocal lessons, as well as a reflection masterclass in Chernoe Ozero (Black Lake) Park.
