The Tatar song contest “КHATER” (Memory) has been held in the House of Friendship of Peoples in Magnitogorsk for about 20 years. In 2022, it will be organized either by meeting or correspondence.

In 2021, 48 applications were sent to the competition. There were 130 talented performers not only from Magnitogorsk, but also from the Orenburg, Omsk and Chelyabinsk regions, the Republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, the Perm Krai and St. Petersburg.
