Image of Syuyumbike – a topic that is at a time like tsarist Russia, as well as in Soviet times, was closely intertwined with ideology. A landmark for the history of the Tatar people began in 1552, the collapse of the Kazan Khanate, which entailed for many centuries forgetting spiritual values. However, in Russian art, in the wake of interest in Russian history, appeared canvasses devoted to campaigns and conquests, bright personalities once existed on the territory of Russian khanates and states (V.G. Khudyakov “Queen Syuyumbike in captivity, leaving Kazan”, 1870, Ulyanovsk art Museum). In 1920 – 1930 years in the Kazan art renewed interest in national history (II Knyazkov “Entrance of Ivan the Terrible in Kazan Kremlin”).

The discovery of the world of the khan of Kazan through the image Syuyumbike was done Baki Urmanche in unfading sculptural portrait of the Queen, or in his graphic work (the collection of the RT National museum).

Current treatment is directed to the image through the lens Syuyumbike conditional, postmodern language of the so-called “Muslim avant-garde”, abstractionism, conceptualism, primitive techniques, aesthetics of art shamail.
