An annual holiday of friendship Chak-chak holiday was held in Kokshetau of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by the association of Tatars and Bashkirs of the Akmola region.

The main part of the holiday was a culinary competition. Compatriots from Kokshetau, Astana, Stepnogorsk presented various Tatar national dishes. Folk ensembles “Galiyabanu” (Kokshetau) and “Duslyk” (Astana), amateur artists from Stepnogorsk performed folk and modern songs in the Tatar and Kazakh languages.

It should be noted that the main components of the holiday were an exhibition of arts and crafts, masterpieces of culinary dishes of the national Tatar cuisine.

The culinary art competition of national dishes and the festive concert ended with the presentation of letters of thanks, prizes and memorable gifts from sponsors.
