At the library named after A.S. Pushkin, Saransk, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, National Policy, Tourism and the archives of the Republic of Moldova with the leading journalists of the republic.
The Minister of Culture, National Policy, Tourism and the Archives of the Republic of Moldova Anatoly Chushkin thanked the representatives of the republican electronic and print media for active cooperation in information coverage of culture, interethnic and interdenominational relations, development of tourism. Then, awards were given: diplomas of the Ministry, letters of thanks from the Minister.
The responsible secretary of the newspaper “Yuldash” Elvira Rashitovna Balyayeva was awarded the jubilee medal “For interethnic consent”.
Elvira Balyayeva is the author of publications about the Tatars of Mordovia: famous people and common workers of agriculture and industry.
She also writes about major events in the life of the Tatars of our republic, highlights holding of the republican, interregional and rural Sabantuys, tells about the participation of Tatars in the festivals Shumbrat, Mordovia! And Avylym tavyshlary.
Anatoly Chushkin noted that the ministry has been cooperating with the editorial staff of the newspaper Yuldash for many years, which makes a great contribution to the harmonization of interethnic and inter-confessional relations in Mordovia.
