Today  at  the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan the International Scientific and ractical Conference “External Relations of the Regions of the Russian Federation. Experience of the Republic of Tatarstan “.

The conference is dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Tatarstan and is intended to assess the results of the development of the theory and practice of organizing external economic, scientific, technical and socio-cultural ties of the regions of Russia in the system of strategies for federal and regional policy.

The scientific and practical conference works in the following areas:

Foreign economic policy of the Russian Federation: the role of regions;

External relations of the Republic of Tatarstan: history and modernity;

Interregional interaction in the system of bracers  of the Russian state: balance of external economic and interregional ties as an element of political and economic security of the state;

Dialogue of civilizations as an instrument of soft power in Russia’s foreign policy: the experience of Tatarstan.

On behalf of the World Congress of Tatars, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Danis Shakirov takes part   in the conference with  presentation “Experience of the Republic of Tatarstan in Working with Compatriots Living Abroad”.
