On November 26-27, the two most popular films of Tatarstan cinematographers “Tarlan” and “Isenmesez” were screened in the Penza region.

The event was organized by the State Institution “Tatarkino” with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the World Congress of the Tatars and the Tatar National Cultural Autonomy of the Penza Region.

The premiere of the film “Tarlan” took place at the Center for Culture and Leisure in Penza. Before the start of the screening, the guests were greeted by the chairman of the Tatar National Cultural Autonomy of the Penza Region, Zhigansha Tuktarov, who noted that such film screenings are necessary to preserve the cultural heritage of the Tatar people. They provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the Tatar culture.

Film screenings were also held in Kamenka, Kuznetsk, Inderka village. All films were shown in Tatar with Russian subtitles.
