Within the framework of the III Congress of the International Association of Tatars of the European Union, the Alliance of Tatars of Europe, amendments were made to the Charter of the ATA. One of which is a change in the name of the association. In addition, delegates were invited to contact the World Tatars Congress for assistance in submitting documents to the European Union.
Under the Congress program, elections were held for governing bodies of the international association of Tatars of the European Union countries “Alliance of Tatars of Europe”, where the following have been elected as Members of the Board:
Venera Vagizova – Germany
Rishat Sabitov – France
Venera Abdulkhalikova – Italy
Ramil Minnulin – England
Jezhy Shakhunevich – Poland
Enzhe Bayramova – Austria
Albina Valieva – Bulgaria
Talgat Izmailov – Slovakia
Flyur Sharipov – Lithuania
Tair Kuznetsov – Lithuania
Rinat Akhunov – Latvia
Maryam Malysheva – Estonia
Julia Fatkhullina – Sweden
Rita Khasanova – Hungary
Regina Shchegoleva – Switzerland
Flyur Sharipov was elected Chairman of ATA. Co-Chair – Bari Diyanov. Rafael Muksinov and Enzhe Bayramova were appointed advisers to the chairman. Albina Valieva, Aina Zetterlund, Jerzy Shahunevich were elected vice-chairmen.
Flyur Sharipov was awarded Honorary title “Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan”. Riva Ryudisser and Rita Khasanova were awarded with medals of the World Congress of Tatars “For Great Merits to the Tatar People”. Tahir Gataullin awarded the WCT Letter of gratitude.
The medals of the European Tatars Alliance “For Preservation and Development of Tatar Culture in Europe” were awarded to: Elvira Galiakberova, Gulzalina Zhekhtunova, Inga Zhekhtunova, Maryam Malysheva, Liliya Musina.
The final point of the III Congress of the International Association of Tatars of the European Union “Alliance of Tatars of Europe” was the adoption of a resolution. In addition, delegates agreed that the upcoming Sabantuy of Europe should be held in Sofia in 2020.
An evening of Tatar classical music “Life and work of composer N.G. Zhiganov – an example for the future generation” (a concert of Tatar opera singers living in Europe) awaits delegates at these minutes.
