On October 27, in Kaliningrad, members of the “Kardashlar” culture society a dictation on the work by Abdulla Alish “Nechkabil” in the framework of the worldwide campaign “Tatarcha dictation” was written. The dictation became possible with the support of the library named after cosmonaut Alexei. Leonov.
This year marks the 110th anniversary of the birth of A. Alish. Preparation for the dictation made it possible to once again touch the very interesting works of the Tatar poet, a fighter against fascism.
Even in 1939, Musa Jalil, describing Abdullah Alish, wrote: “The works by the writer A. Alish are distinguished by the ease of the language, entertaining and always informative.” The tale “Nechkabil” is a direct confirmation of this.

The text of the dictation was read by an active member of the «Kardashlar» society Gulnara Kinzhabaeva. She is a certified teacher of Tatar language and literature. The results of the written work already now help us to understand how to correct the erroneous spelling of words using specific letters that are not present in the Russian alphabet. These are words where letters are used like “ә”, “ө”, “ү”, “җ”, “ң”, “һ”. It was planned that during the planned literary readings, examples of writing such words would be given.
Kaliningrad Tatars liked the idea of a worldwide action, which aroused interest in mastering their native language. This is evident from the reviews in social networks. Undoubtedly, there will be a surge in the request for educational literature for more in-depth study of the native language. The more you read various literary works that have become classical, you listen to the TV and radio programs in Tatar, the more interesting everyday colloquial speech becomes. Now we can more often speak with each other in Tatar and get pleasure from it.
