In autumn 2012, a branch of the Tatarstan-New Century television channel was opened at the Ulyanovsk Region. The correspondent office of the region is led by a well-known journalist, Honored Worker of Culture of Tatarstan, a member of the Union of Journalists of Russia Ramis Safin. Participants in the All-Russian Forum of Tatar Journalists familiarized themselves with the work of the TNV corps.

The TNV office in Ulyanovsk covers events in 7 regions. In a month, 22 stories are being prepared for the TNV channel.

I want the Ulyanovsk region to be always heard. And we are working with the governor Sergei Morozov in complete understanding, ”says Ramis Safin, head of the office.

Ramis Safin lived in Ulyanovsk for 30 years. The life of the Tatars of the region is well known to him. He is also the chairman of the National Cultural Autonomy of the Tatars of the region. Today, the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region Sergey Morozov awarded him the honorary title of Honored Press Worker of the Ulyanovsk Region.
