Kazan chak-chak, which won the Tastes of Russia 2021 National Competition of Regional Food Brands, will be presented at a gastronomic festival in Moscow. It will be held from July 14 to 17, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.
In addition to chak-chak, Tatarstan will present Tatar Baly honey, Bulgaria duck kazylyk, Tatar-style dried duck breast, Emiz grape drink, Tatar tea, Tatar Halal sausages at the festival. Six agricultural enterprises and companies will participate in the event from the republic.
“The Tastes of Russia gastronomic festival, organized by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, will be the next stage of a large-scale program to promote regional food brands, which has been implemented on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin since 2020,” the press service noted.
The gastrofestival will be held at 22 venues in Moscow, and about 300 brands from 65 regions of Russia will take part in it. The project “Tastes of Russia” in the format of the festival is held for the first time. It will present the participants of the Tastes of Russia National Competition of Regional Food Brands, which was held in 2020 and 2021 to promote regional products and support small agribusiness.
