Within the framework of “Festival of National Weddings – 2014”, which was held from June to September 2014, by territorial bodies of the registrar of the Chelyabinsk region, together with the authorities and civil society organizations, creative teams, solemn state registration marriage with elements of national traditions took place.

Festival of national weddings has manifested wedding traditions of various nationalities, living in the Chelyabinsk region. The festival participants came from eight territories: Agapovsky municipal region presented just three national weddings: Russian, Kazakh and Cossack; Etkulsky wedding was held in the Cossack national style; Kunashaksky region held a ceremony “Nikah”; Nagaybak municipal region held Nagaybak and Kazakh weddings; Registry Office Administration of Plastovsky municipal region -Kazakhsky wedding; Satkinsky region – Tatar-Bashkir wedding; Chesmensky – Tatar wedding. Chelyabinsk also participated in the festival. Registry Office of Administration of Metallurgical region held Bashkir wedding.
