On March 12, in Kazan mosque Yardem, a congress of NGO Women of Tatarstan ” Muslima” took place. Also, the scientists Alta Makhmutova , Reseda Safiullina, Kazan Duma deputy, director of Tatar second gymnasium Kamaria Khamidullina, well- known preachers Rashida Ishaky, Aida Appakova, activist of “Muslima” Sirina Shagimardanova, head of the center “Yardem” Gelmutdinova Malika, chairman of the NGO Tatar women “Ak Kalfak” Kadria Idrissova, chairman of the foundation of Tatar family Milausha Gaifullina, poetess Fairuza Muslimova, lawyer Roza Fardieva and others have performed.
Women’s organization is headed by Almira Adiatullina. At the meeting, it was decided to set up all-Russian organization of Muslim women with the same name “Muslima”.
As stated in the resolution of kurultay, its purpose – confrontation against xenophobia, racism, establishment of inter-religious and international relations , education of the younger generation on the basis of national traditions.
Women are willing to create a special program ” Muslima ” on channel ” TNV “. Summer camp will be organized for young Muslims, a children’s sabantui to be held.
