It is reported that the worst Russian teachers coped with such subject areas as “mathematics and computer science” and “the foundations of the spiritual and moral culture of the peoples of Russia.” These subjects were beyond the power of almost half of the study participants.
The results on history, economics, “Russia in the world”, the Russian language and literature were also weak. Almost a quarter of teachers failed to cope with these subjects.
