Every summer, 20 km from Tobolsk, Isker Gyeny is held. This event is very similar to Izge Bolgar Zhyyny, traditionally held in Tatarstan.

The Tatars of the Tyumen region come to the site of the former capital of the Siberian Khanate to honor the memory of their ancestors, pray for them, and remember their history.

Isker – the capital of the Siberian Khanate – today is an island in the middle of the Irtysh, towering 80 meters: 100 meters long, 1.5 meters wide. It is located 20 km from Tobolsk. Isker is included in the list of monuments of federal significance and must be protected by the state.
