Diliya Gataullina, 18-year-old student of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, won the competition.

Seven participants qualified for the final and went through educating Tatar language, folk song and dance.

During the final, the girls had to perform a folk dance, go on catwalk in a self-created role, prepare an essay on the topic “What feat a contemporary Tatar girl can do for her people?” and to excel in a creative performance. Some sang in Tatar, others danced Tatar and Indian folk dances, recited poems, several girls prepared a national dish chak-chak.

The highlight of the competition was the performance by Chulpan Muratova, who wonderfully performed Tatar song with own accompaniment on the piano. According to the results of the competition, she was awarded in the category “Zyyaly Kyz .” Each of the finalists has been featured in one of the nominations.

Third place and the title ” Tylsymly kyz ” received Ajgul Rakhmanova , she was awarded the prize of “Tatar – Inform”. Audience Award, the title of ” Altyn kyz ” and second place was awarded Laysan Gainutdinova. The winner of the contest “Tatar Kyzy – 2014 ” became a 18 – year-old student of IzhSTU named after Kalashnikov Dilia Gataullina, she was awarded the prize, a specially handmade kalfak.
