The results of the Keyword contest were summed up in Moscow. In the framework of the forum-dialogue “Language Policy: All-Russian Expertise”, the winners of the III All-Russian Prize for Preservation of Linguistic Diversity were announced.
In total, more than 700 applications from different parts of the country were submitted to the competition. The best multimedia project was recognized as a distance education program for everyone who wants to learn the Tatar language “Ana Tele”. The resource was developed by Kazan (Volga) University with the support of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.
“With the help of the resource, 10 thousand people from all over the world study the Tatar language, including from the USA, England, France and Germany,” said Dean of the Higher School of Russian and Foreign Philology named after L. Tolstoy KFU Resezda Muhammetshina.
The Wikibabushki social project of Bashkir grandmothers won in the nomination “Best Social Initiative”. Activists write articles in the Bashkir language, participate in contests, win prizes, dress up in Bashkir outfits, read reports at conferences not only in Russia but also abroad.
“The best scientific project of 2019 was the Big Explanatory Dictionary of the Yakut Language, which was published in 15 volumes in Novosibirsk.
