The first Sabantuy in Antalya was attended by more than 200 guests

July 13, 2018 for the first time in Antalya on the Mediterranean coast the Tatar national holiday Sabantuy was celebrated.
The organizer of this holiday is Chairman of the Council on Foreigners of the City Duma at the administration of the Konyaalti district of Antalya city Nazarova Oksana Khalfatovna with the support of the Tatar community of Antalya.
The Tatar community of Antalya is one of the many communities living in this region. The main part of the community consists of youth and the younger generation. The main task is to support the culture and traditions of our people far from the Motherland.
In the field of culture, the celebration of Sabantuy is one of the most important events in the life of the Tatar community. This year for the first time on July 13 in Antalya celebrated the national holiday Sabantuy. The main goal of the event is the preservation of the national identity and familiarity of the Turkish people with the history, customs and traditions of the Tatar people, the development and strengthening of cultural and business ties between Turkey and Russia.
Sabantuy is a favorite holiday of the Tatar people, the customs of the people, songs, dances merge in it.
Honorary guests took part in the festive events in Antalya: representatives of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Antalya.
The Republic of Tatarstan was attended by Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Turkey Gataullin Airat Eduardovich, who addressed the guests with a congratulatory speech.
On the holiday came the Tatars from different parts of Turkey and Russia – Ankara, Eskishehir, Kemer, Moscow, Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan, Ufa and other cities. This year more than 200 guests took part in the holiday in Antalya.
The concert program with the participation of the Tali Theater of the Tatar Song of the Tatar Cultural Center of Moscow under the direction of the Honored Artist of Russia Ildar Shigapov as part of the soloists of the Theater of the Laureate of International Competitions Nilo Dusmetova and Zulfiya Khalilova, Dans Studiya “FREEDOM” of the city of Kemer under the direction of Lyubov Pirogova , the school “Master Dans” in the town of Antali under the direction of Alena Sinevich and Viktor Sinevich, the leading and soloist – the music teacher of the MBOU SOSh of Urgala of the Republic of Bashkortostan Gainutdinova Lira, and also members of the Tatar community.
As part of the national holiday, traditional games for children and adults, folk dances, a fair of national souvenirs, as well as national treats took place.
On the festive grounds teams of media correspondents worked, including the TV and radio company TNV, TNT and others. The materials were published in the Tatarstan and Turkish media.
