The history of Piniger village in three volumes

The presentation of the book by Ziyatdin Nazmutdinov “A Thousand and One Nights in Piniger village” was held at the World Congress of Tatars today.

The book contains materials on the history of Piniger village (Vyatskopolyansky district, Kirov region, Russia). Among them are historical and documentary materials about farms organized in the village, about people’s lives, memories of the older generation. Also in 3 volumes of the book village news, poems and stories of fellow villagers are presented. The last volume of the book is filled with photographic materials, allowing a more complete view of the fate of people and the history of the village.

The compilers of the book are the imam of Piniger village Ziyatdin hazrat Nazmutdinov and the librarian of this village Nurisa Bogavieva.

The guests of the event were greeted by the head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Danis Shakirov:

– From February 2018 to the present day, a lot of work has been done. The result of this work is a 3-volume book compiled by Ziyatdin hazrat. Thank you for the opportunity to touch the history and culture of your village!

Rauf Faskhutdinov, Chairman of the Board of the Regional Cultural and Educational Public Organization of the Tatars of the Kirov Region, expressed his deep gratitude to the World Congress of Tatars for their help in promoting the book.

Among the guests of the event were Jalil hazrat Fazlyev, Ilyas hazrat Ziganshin, guests from the Kirov region, Kukmorsky district (Tatarstan) and others.

The book has been published with a circulation of more than 900 copies.
