On August 5 – 7, 2022, in the city of Tobolsk and the Tobolsk district of the Tyumen region, on the historical site of the former capital of the Siberian Khanate Isker, the XIII International Festival of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Siberian Tatars “Isker-zhyen” was held, the organizer and initiator of the project is a regional Tatar public organization “Heritage” in the Tyumen region and the Center for the Study of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Siberian Tatars (in Tobolsk).

Assistance in the preparation and holding of these events was provided by the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars, the Committee for Nationalities of the Tyumen Region, the Tyumen Regional Duma, the Tobolsk City Duma, as well as Tatar public organizations of Kazakhstan and regions of the Siberian region of the Russian Federation.
