The Permanent Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad oblast hosted the opening of the art exhibition “Native expanses”. The main objective of the exhibition – show Tatar theme in all its glory associated with minor homeland of authors.
The exposition includes the works by artists of St. Petersburg Tatars Ildus Vakhitov, Robert Miftakhutdinov, Larissa Akhmadeeva, Elmira Mustafina, Ekaterina Chikhanova and sculptor Akhnaf Ziyakaev. The exhibition presents more than 30 paintings, done in oil painting, drawing and sculpture.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in St. Petersburg and Leningrad oblast Renat Valiullin, Dean of the Faculty of design and
decorative arts Ekaterina Chikhanova, graphics and painting teachers of the department Lyudmila Koryukova, Boris Bersenadze and others. At the opening of the exhibition many guests have been invited. Creative figures, representatives of national-cultural and youth organizations took part in the event.
To get acquainted with the works by the Tatar artists means to feel a lively mood of the ambient light and feel the birth of emotions, which are the wealth of the memory and are stored in the secret corners of the soul. Subjects of different paintings – landscapes, Tatar villages, much of the work is devoted to the native land of artists. The charm of native land and the grandeur of its historical and cultural heritage, all that remains in the memory from childhood and links with their homeland. Beauty of flower fields, rural landscapes, traditional way of life of the Tatar people, depicted in the paintings presented at the exhibition. They are filled with a sense of space, sunlight, quiet and deep penetration into the abyss of native land.
