Today, Muslims celebrate the end of fasting on the holy month of Ramadan. Festive namaz in honor of one of the most revered religious holidays of Uraza Bayram – Eid al-Fitr was held in all ithe mosques of Tatarstan.

By decision of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, in  major cities of the republic, gaet-namaz began at 7 o’clock. In the regional centers and villages, taking into account the wishes of the parishioners, they decided to hold the festive divine services early in the morning – half an hour after sunrise.

The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a festive namaz in honor of Uraza Bayram, which was held at  the Galeyev mosque of the capital of the republic. The service was conducted by  chairman of the DUM RT (RBM  RT), the mufti of the republic, Kamil hazrat Samigullin.

The live broadcast from the Galeyevsky mosque was conducted by the TNV channel.

Addressing those who came to the festive divine service in the Galeyevsky mosque, the mufti of Tatarstan congratulated the Muslims on the holiday of Uraz-bayram – Eid al-Fitr, and also read  out  the texts of congratulations, with which President Vladimir Putin. and President Rustam Minnikhanov addressed the believers.

After the sermon, all those gathered at the Galeyevsky mosque performed a festive namaz, which was also read by the mufti of Tatarstan.

The hall of the Galeyevsky mosque was full. Those who did not have enough space inside could make a namaz on the square in front of the mosque.

Today, throughout the country will be held various events dedicated to Uraza Bayram. During the festive sermon, the Mufti of the Republic of Tatarstan invited everyone to the Kazan Central Park of Culture and Rest named after M. Gorky, where Ramazan Fest will be held, organized by the DUM RT.

The holiday program “Ramazan Fest”, which will begin at 13.00, will be devoted to the theme of family values ​​and the strengthening of successive ties between generations.
