President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic on the upcoming holiday of Uraza Bayram. He noted the close connection of the holiday with the spiritual and cultural traditions of the Tatar people and wished happiness and well-being to all Tatarstan people. It is reported by the press service of the resident of the Republic of Tatarstan.

“In our multinational republic, the celebration of Uraza-Bairam has millennial roots, closely intertwined with the ancient cultural and family and everyday traditions of the Tatar people. Christians and representatives of other religions invariably address  to Muslims with good congratulations and good wishes, strengthening us in our common desire for the good and prosperity of our native Tatarstan, ”Rustam Minnikhanov said in his address.

He added that on this holiday in mosques throughout the country, call for unity, prudence and compassion are of particular importance.  Minnikhanov   recalled  about the good tradition of holding crowded Iftar, children’s parties, charity and cultural and educational events. According to him, every year more and more people become participants in these events.

“May Uraza-bairam once again bestow on you the joy of spiritual communion with the Almighty, filling the hearts of believers with light, and at home with peace! I sincerely wish you and your loved ones happiness, peace, goodness and well-being, ”concluded the President of Tatarstan.
