As part of a working trip to Chelyabinsk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev met with the leadership of the region.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk region Oleg Gerber, Deputy Governor of the Chelyabinsk region Anatoly Vekshin, Chairman of the Congress of the Tatars of the Chelyabinsk region Lena Kolesnikova, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan for the Ural Region Khaidar Gilfanov and Head of the Committee for work with Tatar public organizations in the regions of the Russian Federation Mars Tukaev.

“The World Congress of the Tatars unites all Tatars. For this purpose, we are carrying out various projects. Next week we are holding the Forum “Business Partners of Tatarstan.” Speaking about Congress of the Tatars of the Chelyabinsk Region, the organization has been active for 25 years. Today the Chelyabinsk region is one of the largest regions of Russia in terms of Tatar population,” the chairman said.
