In the year of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria, the Russian Museum of Ethnography presents a traveling exhibition project “Volga Bulgaria. Great legacy”

Unique artifacts from the collection of the Russian Ethnographic Museum will be shown in Kazan, Ufa and Chelyabinsk.

In the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, visitors will see samples of gold embroidery, leather mosaics, jewelry and unique costume complexes of the 19th century from the collection of the Russian Ethnographic Museum.

The  Exhibition “Volga Bulgaria. Great Heritage” will run in Kazan from August 11 to September 4.
