Today, within the framework of a working trip to the Orenburg region,  Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the WCT, Vasil Shaykhraziev took part in a relay race of the ceremony marking the flag of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the TASSR. Heads of Tatar public organizations of the Volga Federal District attached patches of miniatures of flags of their subjects

The starting point of today's events in the framework of the visit to the Orenburg region of the delegation of Tatarstan, headed by  Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev became a monument to Musa Jalil.

In the Year of Remembrance and Glory, the schools of the Pestrechinsky district will be given the names of outstanding compatriots who distinguished themselves during the years of World War II. This was announced at a meeting of  the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan  by  Head of the region, Ilham Kashapov.

In the city of Karakol, the Kyrgyz Republic celebrated Mother Language Day. The main participants in the event were ethnic groups. The festival dedicated to the International Mother Language Day was held based on the work of Ch. T. Aitmatov “White Steamboat - The World of Children's Dreams”.

The mother tongue is the main mechanism for personal self-development, said Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of the People of Tatarstan in his congratulation on the Day of the Mother Tongue addressed to residents of the republic.

On February 22, at 13:30, a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the great Tatar poet G. Tukay will be held in Moscow. The event will be held as part of the celebration of the International Mother Language Day. It was proclaimed by the UNESCO General Conference in November 1999 and is celebrated annually on February 21 to promote linguistic and cultural diversity.

The meeting of  Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan,  Chairman of the National Council Vasil Shaykhraziev with compatriots was held at the building of the Museum of History and Art of the Kaliningrad Region.

These days, the delegation of Tatarstan, headed by  Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Tatars Congress, Vasil Shaykhraziev, is in the city of Kaliningrad.

Kazan honored the memory of the outstanding Tatar poet Fatih Karim. A solemn meeting with the laying of flowers at the memorial plaque at the house number 8 on Mislavsky St. was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the death of the poet in World War II. It was from this house on December 30, 1941 that Fatih Karim went to the front.
