A commemorative event dedicated to the artist Saniya Bakhtiyarova was held at the Tatar Cultural Center of St. Petersburg.
Her work is inextricably linked with the Tatar cultural traditions. The exhibition includes both genre paintings and portraits dedicated to national life and rituals, as well as landscapes and still lifes of different years. Bakhtiyarova’s paintings are notable for their colorful texture, high emotional background, attention to colors and lines of nature.
Friends of the artist shared their memories of Saniya Bakhtiyarova. The event was attended by employees of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
