Magnitogorsk is hosting the International Vocal Competition named after the Honored and People’s Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Gabdulla Rakhimkulov. This year the competition is held for the seventh time in full-time and part-time form.
The main goal of the project is to promote the Tatar song, the national song traditions of the Tatar people, and to identify talented performers.
The author of the project is a professor at the Magnitogorsk State Conservatory named after M.I. Glinka, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation Rafail Mullanurovich Bakirov.
The geography of participants is wide. Residents from Kazan, Arsk, Ufa, Sibay, Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Leningrad region take part in the competition. There are participants from Germany and Bulgaria.
