In Syzran, at the center of the Tatars, a regular meeting of the Ak-kalfak club of Tatar women took place.

The librarian of the branch №18 Gulsem Salikhova spoke about knitting and crocheting. She held a crochet knitting workshop and introduced   knitting books.

Hand knitting is an old folk craft, which today is again at the peak of popularity. People knit not only in order to do the necessary, beautiful, one-of-a-kind thing. The process of knitting brings joy to a person, makes it possible to express oneself in creativity, to see beauty and harmony in everyday life and in everyday life. However, hand knitting needs to be learned.

This is exactly what the club women were doing with special zeal.

Something turned out right away, but something else was worth learning – for this, needlework classes are organized as part of the Ak-Kalfak club meeting every Sunday at 14-30 hours.
