October 22, 2014, an organizational meeting of the Club Tatar of journalists in the city of Tyumen was held. The decision to create a professional association of journalists was taken up at the “round table” dedicated to the theme “The role of the media in the Tatar national information picture of the Tyumen region» still on October 9. The purpose of the Club – uniting of journalists for formation among the Tatar population the will to preserve their native language and national culture. The Club has been entered by the editors and journalists of the leading Tatar regional media: newspapers «Yanarysh”, “Hikmat”, “MuslimInfo”, the TV program “Ochrashular” (STRBC «Tyumen Region”), Gulsina Niyazova, presenter of the radio “Duslarga sukmak” (STRBC “Region -Tyumen “) Diana Khalilova radio” Tatar radiosy ” collective branch of TRC” TNV-Planet “, as well as individual journalists. Club membership is open to any journalist covering the life of the Tatar people. You do not have to be a Tatar and work in the national media.

The first organizational meeting of journalists chose the President of the Club, Danir Sabirov, CEO of “Tatar radiosy” in Tyumen. Despite the fact that the club does not have a legal form, the Statute has been approved, under which the activities of the association are due to be held. Journalists have already settled on the first joint project. It will be dedicated to the Siberian Tatars. Future work will be the subject of the next, November meeting of the Club.
