Days of Culture of Tatarstan in Moscow to last five days

In 2022, the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow will be held from 21 to 25 August. By tradition, they will end with a gala concert at the Moscow International House of Music.

The Days of Culture of Tatarstan will begin with the presentation of three feature films. Screenings will be held at the Central House of Cinematographers.

August 21 at 17.00 – premiere of the feature documentary film “Ibn Fadlan”. The film was shot as part of the celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria.

Before the start of the film screening, a concert program awaits guests in the foyer, and cafes with national cuisine will be open.

August 21 at 19.00 – screening of the feature film “Tarlan”, directed by Yulia Zakharova.

August 22 at 19.00 – premiere screening of the feature film “Mikulai”, directed by Ilshat Rakhimbay.

On August 23 and 24, the Days of Tatar Children’s Literature will be held at the Russian State Children’s Library (RSDL).

The program prepared by the Russian State Library for Children’s Library and the Republican Children’s Library: a creative meeting with Tatar children’s writers – Razil Valeev, Rkail Zaidullin, Yoldyz Sharapova, Lenar Shaekh, Vera Khamidullina, representatives of the Moscow writers’ community; an event dedicated to the work of the people’s poet of the Republic of Tatarstan Robert Minnullin (1948-2020); round table “Children’s Literature and the Promotion of Children’s Reading: Experience, Problems, Prospects”.

Within two days, those who wish will visit an exhibition of novelties of Tatar children’s literature on printed and electronic media, retro literature from the fund of the Republican Children’s Library; an exhibition of Tatar folk crafts as part of the Year of Folk Art and Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.

Children will be able to watch cartoons in the Tatar language, attend creative workshops on creating a Tatar national doll (master – Associate Professor of the Institute of Design and Spatial Arts of KFU M.M. Makhmutova), Tatar shamails (master – Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazhib Nakkash (calligrapher ), book covers (master – Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan R. Musabirova).

Guests of the Days of Tatar Children’s Literature will be treated to dishes of the Tatar national cuisine.

24 August:

18.30 – flower-laying ceremony at the monument to the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay.

Address: square on the street. Novokuznetsk.

Everyone is welcome.

19.00 – a creative meeting with poets and writers from the Republic of Tatarstan in the concert hall of the TCC of Moscow.

From Kazan will arrive: Rkail Zaydullin, Rifat Kurbanov, Gazinur Muratov, Ruzal Mukhametshin, Ravil Fayzullin.

12.00 – flower laying ceremony at the monument to Musa Jalil. This day marks the 78th anniversary of the death of the poet and his associates.

19.00 – Gala concert of masters of arts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Entry by invitation.
