Dina Garipova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, winner of the Golos TV show, presented her new album at Kazan Lyceum No. 83, where she held a music lesson as part of the All-Russian project Cultural Marathon.

“We opened our event with the title track of my new Tatar album. The song is called “Ethno”. So will the album be called, ”the singer shared with the students.

According to her, she wants to contribute to the development of Tatar music with the  new album.

The main idea of ​​the record is a journey through the history of the Tatar nation, starting from the era of Kul Gali and  creation of the city of Bolgar to the present. The album’s task is to present the famous Tatar folk songs in a new sound, the artist noted.

The All-Russian project “Cultural Marathon” was launched in Russia on October 1, 2019. Kazan opened it with a lesson from Dina Garipova. The All-Russian project introduces pupils to the  world and national culture. It is planned that more than three million pupils will participate in it. Lessons are devoted not only to music, but also to architecture, theater and cinema.
