The Republic of Udmurtia, Mozhga town, an educational seminar “Step by Step: Tatar culture” within the larger project ” Serle sandyk” took place there, the press service of the Udmurtia House of Peoples’ Friendship informs.

At the workshop , participants learned about Tatar literature on dance, watched a video about Tatar costumes from different regions of Russia, played youth folk games, listened to the guests from Naberezhnye Chelny town – members of the Writers’ Union of the Russian Federation.

Poet, journalist and translator from Naberezhnye Chelny town Alfiya Sitdikova spoke on “Contemporary writers – children.” She introduced the participants just released a colorful children’s books in four languages: Russian, Udmurt, Tatar, English.

House of Peoples’ Friendship Methodist from Udmurtia Alia Abdullina held a master class on the Tatar folk dances.

At the end, the gathered received certificates of participation in the seminar.
