March for Peace and Reconciliation is coming to the final stage of its procession

Participants of a unique international project “March for Peace and Harmony” Path to the origins of the 2014 ” has finished hiking part along the coast of the Black Sea in Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria. Ahead of the final stage along the territory of Greece.

“July 22 and 23 we were met by the Bulgarian town of Karlovo. Concert with the participation of creative groups of Bulgarians, Roma, Greeks living in Karlovo, a tour of the old town with cobblestone streets and neat two-story houses, visiting the museum and house of the national hero of Bulgaria Vasil Levski, a round table with the participation of representatives of the community of Karlovo, City Hall, public and religious organizations, a gala dinner and accommodation at the hotel, “- said the executive director of March, a member of the presidium of the Association of Tatars and Bashkirs of Kazakhstan Ruslan Abdullin.

His creative skills showed marchers, head of the cultural program, the composer and musician Yan Bederman. His solo concert was greeted with applause and words of gratitude. The completion of the March visit became a meeting with city officials and discussion of continuation of the project for the next year.

“A special place took transfer of proposals on the development of economic cooperation for businessmen and entrepreneurs between Kazakhstan and Russia on trading perfumes of fragrant roses, which Karlovo is famous all over Europe, the well-known varieties of Bulgarian wines, mineral water and milk products,” – Abdullin noted.

A day later, the march participants held a cultural program in Sofia. Arrival and accommodation of participants was organized by Rossotrudnichestva branch in Bulgaria.

We remind the main objectives of March: A call for peace among nations and harmony among religions; opening pilgrim-tourist

road from Odessa to Thessaloniki; initiation of creating the concept of inter-religious dialogue; cultural and creative exchange.

At the last stage of the march it was attended by 18 people from Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Bulgaria, representing Islam, Christianity, Judaism and Buddhism.
