An exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the famous Tatar poet Musa Jalil was held in the shopping center of the capital as part of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow.
Visitors were able to get acquainted with documents relating to different periods of Jalil’s activity, whose name is directly connected with the historical building of the Tatar Cultural Center, where the poet led a literary circle.
Professor of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vyacheslav Akhmadullin and Senior Librarian of the Russian State Library Zulfiya Khalilova acquainted the guests of the exhibition with new documents that they managed to find in various departmental archives. They helped shed light on the life and work of Musa Jalil in Moscow in the pre-war years, which, according to researchers, are the least known in his biography.
