The National Library of Tatarstan presented a Calendar of memorable dates in 2023

The National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan has compiled a Calendar of memorable dates and events of Tatarstan in 2023.

Here is a calendar of memorable dates for January:

January 3 – 90 years since the birth of the poet, playwright, honored worker of arts of the TASSR, RSFSR Ildar Yuzeev (1933-2004)

January 7 – 120 years since the birth of the director, Honored Art Worker of the TASSR Kashifa Tumasheva (1903-1978)

January 10 – 125 years since the birth of People’s Artist of the TASSR Ildar Mazit (1898-1952)

                     – 90 years since the birth of journalist, writer, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Gusman Gumerov (1933–2020)

January 11 – 160 years since the birth of a religious figure, teacher, historian Hasangata Gabashi (1863-1936)

January 13 – 125 years since the birth of the playwright, poet, publicist Fathi Burnash (1898-1942)

January 15 – 90 years since the birth of the singer, People’s Artist of the TASSR, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Alfiya Avzalova (1933-2017)

               – 80 years since the birth of the singer, People’s Artist of the TASSR Nafisa Vasilova (1943–2006)

January 16 – 90 years since the birth of the children’s writer, poet, honored worker of culture of the TASSR Khakimzyan Khalikov (1933–2002)

January 20 – 110 years since the birth of the bayan player, Honored Worker of Culture of the TASSR Rukia Ibragimova (1913-1998)

January 26 – 110 years since the birth of the children’s writer Amina Bikchantayeva (1913-1986)

January 27 – 100th anniversary of the birth of the Honored Art Worker of the TASSR and the RSFSR Rauza Usmanova (1923–2014)

January 29 – 110 years since the birth of the actor, Honored Art Worker of the TASSR Karim Gilmanov (1913-1964)
