The Sakhalin Tatars delegation met with chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov.

Day 26 April, in Kazan, Tatarstan, Moscow and St. Petersburg, was held under the sign of Tukai.

Earlier, the events in the Arsk region devoted to Gabdulla Tukai were held in New Kyrlay. This year, much attention has been paid also to the native village of the poet Koshlauch.
