Uzbekistan is home to more than 130 nationalities and ethnic groups, including Tatars. On June 9, 2024, Tashkent hosted the national Tatar holiday – Sabantuy.

Albert Khabibullin, Chairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on State Construction and Local Self-Government,presented memorable gifts to compatriots on behalf of the World Congress of Tatars.

The fest included a theatrical opening, a rich concert program with the participation of Masters of Arts of Uzbekistan and Tatarstan.
