Yesterday in Kazan, at the “Saydash” cultural center, a concert was held in memory of Fan Valiakhmetov, People’s Artist of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.

The event gathered friends and family of the singer, as well as admirers and lovers of his work. Guzel Sagitova, Deputy Mayor of Kazan, came to honor the memory of the legendary singer and accordionist.

The program, titled “Özelmäs moñ” (The Unbroken Melody), featured folk songs from Fan Valiakhmetov’s repertoire, contemporary compositions, and improvisations. The concert was embellished by performances from accordionists.

All participants and performers highly appreciated Fan Valiakhmetov’s work and the journey he traveled. Everyone unanimously noted how much he is missed.
